VIVA Wheelers take to the road again

The VIVA Wheelers, that band of enthusiastic cyclists that have raised almost €150,000 for VIVA's projects, have announced two new trips. Their annual one-day event moves to west Cork in September and in 2011 they are heading to New Zealand. Register today for a fun-filled challenge to support our work.

VIVA has signed up to the fundraising website Mycharity.ie. Supporters can now set up a personal website page for their fundraiser and take online donations from their friends and relatives. Supporters can also set up a standing order in favour of VIVA online.

Carmel Molloy reports on her trip to Uganda

Last summer, UCD veterinary student Carmel Molloy, travelled to Uganda (as a recipient of the Mike O'Leary Trust Travel Bursary, to spend a month on VIVA's animal traction project in eastern Uganda. She has now reported on her survey of animal health control strategies in this region.
